Ms Xiaoyun is a good sight-reader and possesses fine musical instincts in piano accompaniment. As my accompanist for my ABRSM Grade 8 Cello Exam, she is able to adapt quickly to different styles of music that I play. She is also a very patient and encouraging teacher who is able to bring the very best out of me. During our sessions together, she gives me a deeper insight into the music I work on and provides me with constructive criticisms. Along with her pianistic abilities, Ms Xiaoyun discusses performance practices of the various periods which was particularly helpful to me.
